Spot Baldness

Spot Baldness also known as Alopecia is a Hair loss autoimmune disorder. Effects of this are loss of hair from the head or body. There are different types of Alopecia that we at the shadow clinic deal with when incorporating Scalp Micro Pigmentation into an affected area. Two main Alopecia cases dealt with are Alopecia Areata (Spot Baldness) where parts of hair coverage on the head and even across the face cease to grow. The other case is Alopecia Totalis where the entire head has loss of all hair.

What triggers Alopecia is not clearly known. Many factors like stress, unhealthy scalp with blocked hair follicles, diabetes and over exposure to ultra violet rays are just a few damaging factors that can aid in the cause of hairloss. In many cases Alopecia has been known to correct itself and hair may start its growth cycle again, but if and when this may occur cannot be determined by a time period.
